For successful submission of UPSC CSE Application Form, candidates are required to submit the application fee. All aspirants who are willing to fill out the application form of UPSC CSE 2020 exam will have to pay the Application Fee that amounts to Rs. 200/-. All candidates who belong to SC/ST category or are physically handicapped or are female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee for the exam.

Only one application needs to be submitted per applicant. If under any circumstances, the applicant ends up filling more than 1 application, then application with higher Registration ID must be used for completing all the required details of the applicant.
Persons already in Government Service, whether in a permanent or temporary capacity or as workcharged employees other than casual or daily rated employees or those serving under the Public Enterprises are however, required to submit an undertaking that they have informed in writing their Head of Office / Department that they have applied for the Examination.
All applicants who are already in Government Service or in Government owned industrial undertakings or in a private employment must directly submit their application to the Commission.
If any candidate forwards his / her application through his / her employer and it reaches the Union Public Service Commission late, the application, even if submitted to the employer before the closing date, will not be considered.
The Application Fee paid for one Registration ID will not be adjusted against the other Registration ID in case of multiple registrations.
Candidates should note that in case a communication is received from their employer by the Commission withholding permission to the candidates applying for / appearing at the examination, their application will be liable to be rejected / candidature will be liable to be cancelled.
